Cleopatra Hospitals Group and the Faculty of Pharmacy - New Giza University have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate in the areas of pharmaceutical care, training, continuing education, and scientific research.

Cleopatra Hospitals Group has signed a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Pharmacy - New Giza University, with the aim of joint cooperation in the fields of pharmaceutical care, clinical pharmacy, medical and pharmaceutical education, and research.

This memorandum of understanding is a continuation of the efforts of Cleopatra Hospitals Group in active participation with Egyptian universities, especially those accredited internationally, to support the healthcare sector as it is the largest private medical care group in Egypt. This is in line with the vision of the Egyptian government, which has supported activating the role of the private sector and its active participation in supporting and developing the healthcare sector in accordance with the Egyptian state's vision for 2030.

Memorandum of understanding was signed by Dr. Ahmed Ezz El Din, CEO and Managing Director of Cleopatra Hospitals Group, and Dr. Manal Maher, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy - New Giza University, in the presence of Dr. Karim Awaad, Director of the Pharmaceutical Services and Dr. Watheq Alsetohy, Clinical Pharmacy Lead at Cleopatra Hospitals Group.

Dr. Ahmed Ezz El Din welcomed the start of cooperation between Cleopatra Hospitals Group and the Faculty of Pharmacy - New Giza University and confirmed the group's readiness to support the development of pharmaceutical care and active participation in programs for rational drug use and antimicrobial stewardship. The group is also prepared to support joint research programs and student training programs through the development taking place at Cleopatra Hospitals Group in the areas of pharmaceutical care, digital transformation, and data science. Being the largest private healthcare provider, he emphasized the importance of scientific research and academic exchange of experiences in developing the level of healthcare in Egypt.
